We recommend using hand sanitiser when you cannot wash your hands with soap and water, or you need added protection after washing your hands. We advise against using hand sanitiser in place of washing with soap and water, or when your hands are visibly soiled.

Squeeze a dollar coin sized amount of hand sanitiser onto one hand. Rub hands palm to palm, making sure to apply the hand sanitiser to the back of your hands as well as between your fingers. Make sure to also clean around your thumbs and wrists. Apply enough sanitiser on hands to cover all surfaces.
